Attached are the minutes of the unofficial meeting we had today. Please feel free to download and read them, but for the lazy ones among you (you know who you are ;)) the main points are listed below:
- University ‘Services’ Internet Portal.
- Organisation of our own EPOCH style challenge for students at the uni, as well as local collages and youth groups.
- Coffee Morning - to promote WIN to the local community, but to also make contacts for potential sponsorship.
- Next Social - A day at the races.
Hi. Just a couple of things I’d like to add from what people have suggested to me..
Paul thinks that in addition to the Mini-EPOCH thing, which at the moment we’re thinking on running for people at the university, as well as local schools and youth groups - we should do something that’s just within WIN: i.e. two teams set-up a company each and try to make some money.
Sari also added that we could look into trying to organise a few events/competitions for early in the first semester to try and generate membership for WIN.
Of course each of these ‘things’ need more definition, i.e. specifically what the challenges are going to be, etc.. as well as needing to organise things like prizes, etc.. but these are things we can discuss in the coming weeks.
Anyone else with any ideas?
