On the 9th April, Northwick Events are hosting the Shropshire Business Expo - a fantastic opportunity to network with other small businesses.
We’re looking to put together a group of people who are interested in attending this event - if this sounds like the sort of thing you’d be interested in, let us know.

I have great delight in announcing that the committee team for next year was decided yesterday. The candidates for each position had to give a 2 minute pitch as to why the rest of the members should vote for them. I would like to say thank you for the candidates for taking time out to deliver such passionate speeches!!

WIN are hosting a mandatory meeting for all current members on Monday 19th March at 1:00pm in the Student Union portacabin. The purpose of this meeting is to vote for next year’s committee members. Anyone that is unable to attend will lose their vote.

Hi guys, I’ve started a Facebook group for WIN.
The purpose of the group, if nothing else, is to help members of WIN, both past and present, keep in touch with each other. You can also use it to upload photos and start discussions (such as about the upcoming elections for the various positions within WIN).
If you’re not yet a member of Facebook I highly recommend joining - it’s a social networking site a bit like MySpace, only with a bit more class (and a lot less EMO). If you sign up using your university email address you’ll automatically join the university’s network, and no doubt find that all your friends on campus are already members (you can then add your other email addresses to your profile to find all your other friends around the world).
I’ve set it as a closed group as it is just for WIN members, so if you’ve not yet had an invite to join, visit the link below and request an invite (or post a comment on this blog with your Facebook details so I can invite you).

UPDATE: I made a bit of a cock-up when starting the first group which prevented some members from joining. The only way to fix this was to delete the group and start it again - so this is what I’ve done. Visit the new link below to join:
