Hi guys, I’ve started a Facebook group for WIN.
The purpose of the group, if nothing else, is to help members of WIN, both past and present, keep in touch with each other. You can also use it to upload photos and start discussions (such as about the upcoming elections for the various positions within WIN).
If you’re not yet a member of Facebook I highly recommend joining - it’s a social networking site a bit like MySpace, only with a bit more class (and a lot less EMO). If you sign up using your university email address you’ll automatically join the university’s network, and no doubt find that all your friends on campus are already members (you can then add your other email addresses to your profile to find all your other friends around the world).
I’ve set it as a closed group as it is just for WIN members, so if you’ve not yet had an invite to join, visit the link below and request an invite (or post a comment on this blog with your Facebook details so I can invite you).

UPDATE: I made a bit of a cock-up when starting the first group which prevented some members from joining. The only way to fix this was to delete the group and start it again - so this is what I’ve done. Visit the new link below to join:
Congratulations on being one of the first people to visit the new WIN web site.
As time goes on, this site will be expanded to include a whole host of new and cool features such as an image gallery. But for the moment it’s going to stay in the format of a blog, allowing important information about what WIN are doing and the events we have planned in the future.
By registering on this site, as a member of WIN, you’ll have the ability to post your own news items for all the other members, but you’ll need to be verified before you’ll be able to do this, so be sure to let someone on the admin team know your username and we’ll upgrade your account.
Anyway, that’s about it for now, thank you for reading, and be sure to check back on a regular basis for more news and events.
(PS, we’re looking for a good photo, relevant to WIN (such as of the university building, a photo of all the members, or maybe a local focal point) for the title image. If you have an image you feel would be suitable, please let us know.)
